Go Alice!
That’s a wonderful article, thanks for linking to it. I hate that influential women don’t receive more coverage, and I think it’s about time that we came to recognise great women. I’ve always wanted to be a game developer myself and completed a game development course last year. Unfortunately before university I did get bullied a lot for my gender (even by authority figures), who would put me down and tell me that I’d never be as good as any male counterpart. This attitude has had a negative impact on my confidence and I do feel easily intimidated around male developers that I haven’t yet become fully acquainted with. It’s a shame because I can see many women falling at such hurdles. I also don’t fight for acceptance for my gender anymore because whenever I try to stand up for myself I get accused of being a feminist and I’m wary of drawing attention to myself in that way. I’m definitely seeing an improvement though as the years have gone by with an increase in awareness and more effort being put towards encouraging women to get on board with the games industry.
Welcome to my blog.
It is advertised with you in August you advertise with me. Everyone will find something for everyone. best regards.

speaking of game devs, have a simple question, I’d like to learn making flash games (FLASH GAMES ONLY) at this moment my knowledge is 0, i’d like be able to make games like this flash game Freezeria, how long would it take for me to learn action script and everything else needed to make games of this caliber?
